The Reading Science Center is set to unveil its newest hands-on exhibit, “Energy in a Box,” on October 18th, made possible through the collaboration and support of East Penn Manufacturing Co. This educational exhibit is designed to engage visitors of all ages by visually demonstrating how battery plates function to power engines, while also encouraging conversations about recycling and sustainability. The exhibit aligns with the Science Center’s mission of providing accessible and memorable STEM experiences that can inspire future careers in science and technology. The official unveiling and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on October 18th at 11:00 AM, with free admission offered to the public all day from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The celebration will also feature family-friendly activities like spooky experiments and battery-building challenges.
