  1. Greater Reading Young Professionals is an organization comprised of young professional between the ages of 21 and 45 that represent a variety of occupations and employers. By attending one of its several monthly networking, social, education, philanthropic or recreational events, you are sure to find a connection that will last a lifetime!   2. Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) is the single point of contact providing the tools and resources to help businesses in Greater Reading thrive. The organization hosts nearly 150 events each year and houses two special programs that allow the Greater Reading business community to connect with one another. Learn more at greaterreading.org.
    • Women2Women (W2W) is GRCA’s catalyst for developing women leaders and connecting women from diverse backgrounds to learn, share ideas and mentor each other.     • The Berks Family Business Alliance (Berks FBA) is a leading resource in Berks County serving family owned and closely held businesses of all sizes. Berks FBA provides diverse programming and numerous interactive opportunities to local businesses so you can connect with like-minded individuals and share challenges.   3. Leadership Berks is a program of the United Way of Berks County that trains and develops individuals to serve in nonprofit leadership roles within Berks County. Learn more about the program and how to apply at uwberks.org/leadership-berks.
  4. Career Ready Berks is an alliance developed by Berks County School Districts, Post-Secondary Institutions, businesses and local business organizations to provide information, resources and training programs to the 70,000 students in Berks County.   5. The LGBT Center of Greater Reading creates, administers and provides services, advocacy and support to the Greater Reading LGBTQ+ community. It offers several free diverse programs and services to empower and enrich the Greater Reading community. Learn more at lbgtcenterofreading.com
  6. Berks Area Mountain Biking Association (BAMBA) is a nonprofit trail association whose mission is to create, enhance and preserve great trail experiences for mountain bikers in Berks County. BAMBA provides an inclusive environment for beginners to advanced mountain bikers with group rides and skills clinics.
