Jack’s Pub Celebrates 100 Years Anniversary with a Block Party

Berks County’s oldest family-owned bar, Jack’s Pub, is celebrating its remarkable 100th anniversary with a community block party on Saturday, May 17th, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Founded in 1925 and run by the Wennell family for four generations, the pub has been a cherished gathering spot for the community. The celebration will feature a chicken BBQ, live music from a local DJ, a display of a 1923 Model T Touring Car, and limited edition t-shirts (available for purchase). Current owner Kyle Wennell emphasizes that this milestone is a celebration of the pub’s history and the community that has supported it for a century, inviting everyone to join in the festivities.
