Healing the Planet Grant Backs Hawk Mountain Tree Project

Hawk Mountain Sanctuary in northern Berks County has received a grant from The GIANT Company and Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful’s 2025 Healing the Planet program. The funding will support native tree planting as part of a statewide effort to add more than 4,000 trees across Pennsylvania. Since 2021, the program has awarded over $1.3 million to projects that connect communities with green spaces, protect waterways and restore native habitats. Hawk Mountain, a global leader in raptor conservation, will use this grant to further its habitat restoration work.
