East Penn Opens 930,000-Square-Foot Facility in Maidencreek

East Penn Manufacturing is celebrating its 80th anniversary by going big—really big. The company officially opened a 930,000-square-foot distribution center in Maidencreek Township, a facility large enough to fit nearly 20 football fields inside. Located at 8697 Allentown Pike, this centralized hub features 170 loading docks and is designed to consolidate operations from several smaller locations to streamline nationwide shipping. Once fully operational in about six months, the site will support approximately 600 to 650 jobs. To mark the occasion, the project developer also provided $10,000 in donations to local groups, including the Blandon Fire Company and the Fleetwood Area Library, emphasizing the company’s commitment to being a good neighbor in Berks County.
