Building a Better Boyertown has received a $30,000 grant from the Boyertown Area Charitable Program of the Berks County Community Foundation to support the redesign of the Community Walkway in downtown Boyertown. The project will enhance safety, functionality, and appearance with upgraded surfaces, improved lighting, and new landscaping. The walkway connects the Town Center Parking Lot to E. Philadelphia Avenue and plays a vital role in downtown accessibility. The design, led by Derck & Edson, LLC, and Barry Isett & Associates, Inc., will incorporate community input to align with Boyertown’s vision for a thriving downtown.
