Reading & Berks County’s Sweet & Salty Trail has officially reopened for the 2025 season, starting on the first day of spring. Originally launched in 2024, the popular trail invites visitors to explore 12 local ice cream shops, candy stores, and pretzel bakeries while earning prizes through the Explore Berks or Visit PA Americana app. Participants check in at each location using the app to track their visits and collect points, with the first prize earned after six stops. The trail runs from March 20 through September 28, with a Level 2 launch coming soon.
