American Crane and Equipment Corporation (ACECO) was founded by Oddvar Norheim in 1972. He was an immigrant from Norway, and our company and its success continue to make his American Dream a reality.
For over 50 years, ACECO has continued to manufacture highly engineered, custom overhead cranes for use in nuclear, aerospace and many other industries. Today, ACECO is run by Oddvar’s daughters Karen Norheim, President & CEO and Stephanie Delibertis, Owner & Vice Chair of the Board.
In 2022, ACECO became certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise and a Small Business Administration’s Women- Owned Small Business by the Women’s Business Enterprise Center – East, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. These important designations verify that our business is at least 51% owned, operated, controlled and managed by women.
Our ACECO Innovation Lab has successfully integrated the technology of the future with our overhead lifting capabilities. We are excited to present new tech for our industry and customers, leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT) with our new Smart Crane System and Machine Health IoT, for remote monitoring, predictive maintenance and diagnostics.
