American Crane and Equipment in Amity Township partnered with a local artist to create a vibrant mural celebrating Berks County’s rich manufacturing history. The artwork serves as a visual reminder of the industries that shaped Greater Reading and the contributions of the workers behind it. But, beyond honoring the historical significance of manufacturing, the mural also highlights the enduring presence and vital role of manufacturing today. With over 500 manufacturing establishments providing 31,400 jobs, this sector remains Berks County’s top industry.
