As a Radiologic Technologist, Cassandra Noray rotates between the emergency department and operating room — doing portable imaging throughout the hospital. She typically works four, 10-hour shifts.
The most rewarding aspects of Noray’s job are knowing she’s coming to work every day to help make a difference in the quality of care the patients are receiving and making sure she takes good quality x-rays. This allows the radiologists to make accurate diagnosis and treat the patients properly.
Originally from the Reading area, Noray attended Alvernia University. After obtaining her degree, she enrolled at the Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences. Noray says that there is a lot of opportunity in Greater Reading, “You just need to find what fits best for you.”
Noray says Reading Hospital/Tower Health has a very positive and inclusive work environment. She gets to work with a lot of different people from a lot of different backgrounds, and they all get along and work well together.
