Gov. Josh Shapiro spotlights Main Street revitalization effort in Greater Reading

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro visited West Reading to promote the state’s $60 million Main Street Matters program, which supports downtown revitalization and small business growth across Pennsylvania. Joined by state and local leaders, Shapiro emphasized the importance of thriving Main Streets in building community pride and strengthening local economies. The initiative has already funded 81 projects statewide, with dozens more currently in progress.
