$67K Award Brings Upgraded Learning and Student Spaces to Reading Science Center

The Reading Science Center is set to expand its impact through Pennsylvania’s Neighborhood Assistance Program, receiving support from Customers Bank, Fulton Bank, and Tompkins Bank. This partnership allows the center to upgrade its classrooms and lunchrooms with new technology and furniture, creating a more flexible and comfortable space for large groups of students. In addition to physical improvements, the funding supports hiring more educators to grow after-school programs and field trips, making it easier for local schools to visit. These enhancements ensure that more children in Berks County can experience hands-on learning and discover the “magic of science” in a modern, well-equipped environment.
