What motivated you to start your business in Greater Reading?
We’ve always been inspired by our mentors – Sarah’s dad and Dani’s grandpa – who both ran family businesses. Their entrepreneurial spirit motivated us to follow in their footsteps and build something meaningful. Clean Eatz was a perfect fit for us because it aligns with our core values: helping others, fostering community and promoting healthy lifestyles. It was a no-brainer to start a business where we could be our own bosses, feel good about the work we do, and leave a positive impact on the community.

How has the local community contributed to the success of your business?
The Greater Reading community has been absolutely incredible. The support we’ve received has been next level. From our amazing customers, who we often know by name, to partnerships with like-minded businesses and organizations like Retro Fitness, Orange Theory, Borough, local police stations, Healthy Kids Running Series, Girls on the Run and local hospitals – everyone has played a huge role in our success. There’s no better feeling than knowing our work is appreciated and seeing familiar faces walk through the door. Hearing our customers’ stories and building those relationships has truly been the most rewarding part of this journey.

What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs in the area?
Know your “why”! Make sure it’s something that excites you, gets you out of bed every day, and fuels your soul. Don’t let fear or doubt hold you back and never let anyone dim your light. Building a business isn’t easy – if it were, everyone would do it. But when you believe in and love what you’re doing, even the hardest days are worth it.

What’s your go-to place or activity in Greater Reading when you need to unwind?
We love a good Orange Theory Fitness workout to start or end our day – it’s challenging yet so rewarding! If not there, we love being active and spending time outdoors, whether it’s exploring the trails or hanging out with our dogs.
