GoggleWorks Expands With Art Park and New Campus Projects

GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, now celebrating its 20th anniversary, is expanding its footprint in downtown Reading with a multi-phase Art Park and new building project. Phase 1 of the Art Park is complete, adding a new paver entrance, performance spaces and a redesigned restaurant. Phase 2, slated for 2026, will bring an amphitheater, interactive fountain, sculpture garden and possibly an outdoor movie theater.

At the same time, the GoggleWorks 2 building is being redeveloped into a multi-use facility that will feature a commercial kitchen for Helping Harvest, apartments for artists and teachers and the relocated Reading Science Center. Backed by private, state and federal funding, these projects aim to make GoggleWorks a full-day destination and a cornerstone in downtown Reading’s revitalization.
