What drew you to Greater Reading?
Rich – I was drawn to Reading through creative collaboration in the late 90s. After meeting so many splendid artists in the area, it seemed very natural to make a move in 1999.
Amy – I have lived here for over 30 years of my life and continue to stay because I have always enjoyed the many beautiful outdoor recreation areas and parks to explore, as well as, the diversity in cultures of the Reading area.
What’s your favorite thing about playing in Greater Reading?
There is something for everyone in every season. During winter, we enjoy days at the museum or taking the kids bowling. When spring comes, we get out and hit the trails and await the Fightin Phil’s home opener. Summer swims at the Antietam Pool keep us cool between our own events and the many festivals. And of course, fall is the best time in PA and we suggest taking a scenic fall foliage ride on the train or a hike in the beautiful Hawk Mountain Sanctuary.
What do you love most about being able to offer residents of Greater Reading with awesome lifestyle opportunities?
We love collaboration! In our line of work, it is all about creative adaptation. We work with local and regional artists, musicians, civic groups and local businesses and through these partnerships we are able to produce events that we would otherwise travel to enjoy.
